KaPow Attendance Policy

Your success, and the Klub’s, depends upon attending all of the practice sessions and events. Joining KaPow Hockey Klub means that you are serious about reaching your full potential, on and off the hockey court. We understand that emergencies arise from time to time, but absences should be held to an absolute minimum.

Each KaPow player is permitted a maximum of two (2) absences during the season. If you are unable to attend a scheduled function, it is your responsibility to notify your coach immediately with reason for absence. Additional absences will result in reduced playing time in competitive events and will be at the discretion of your coach. If your absence is an extraordinary situation, you may petition your coach or the KaPow Director for special consideration.

KaPow Tournament Philosophy

We love to win. But we also believe in teamwork and fair play. We believe that every KaPow member deserves her fair share of playing time at our 2 competitive tournaments. To us, it's important that when we win, we win as a team. A team member's playing time will only be reduced as a result of breaking the Attendance Policy, lack of effort, or other disciplinary matters as determined by the coach.
